Hello Everyone. My name is Phoebe Howard and my song, called “My Angel from Heaven” is dedicated to my grandmother who passed away last year. This has been really hard for me because I never got to say goodbye to her as she lives in Ireland with the rest of my mum’s family. I didn’t just write this song as a way of coping with the pain but also a way of me realising what an extraordinary and an inspiring woman she was not only as a mother but also as a grandmother. This is my way of saying goodbye to her. So here is my song “My Angel from Heaven
Growing up I was a part of a choir that my auntie ran, so that’s how I found my love for music. Some of the singers and musicians that inspire me are Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. As most of their songs are on real life situations. My song called “My Angel from Heaven” is a song about my grandmother who passed away last year, because of this I didn’t want to just make a depressing song saying she was dead, I more so wanted to celebrate her life through lyrics and music. In the future if I still song write I would really love to help people with my songs and whatever they might be going through they are not alone and someone is always there for them and writing down your feelings can really help express words that can’t be said aloud.
